ITxxtra Server Backups is a private backup workflow designed to preserve configuration and application data from a small number of authorized home servers using encrypted storage in Google Drive.

Not a public backup service

What this application is for

The project is intended to support backup and recovery for three privately managed household environments: HAuff HQ, Justin & Krista's home server, and Dad & Gina's home systems. This website provides information about the Google Drive authorization used by the backup workflow; it does not provide access to any server or backup archive.

Deployment to individual servers is configured separately. Descriptions here explain the intended service, not a guarantee that every household is currently connected.

Encrypted archives

Backup files are intended to be encrypted locally before they are transferred to Google Drive.

Authorized access

Google Drive authorization is provided by the account owner and can be revoked at any time.

Recovery-focused

Backups support restoration of server configuration and application data after failures or mistakes.
